Welcome to The Pencil Parent. A blog for readers, writers, and parents to share and enjoy the power of the imagination, and the all-important foibles that make us wonderfully human.

Like most parents, I have a full schedule that relies on balancing my work and home life. This often devolves into carnage, but I try my best.
I work as a freelance writer, researching and authoring blogs and articles. However, to ensure I get some paid holiday, I also work as a Copywriter.
I research and develop product descriptions for a range of items, as well as writing blogs and meta descriptions for digital marketing purposes.
As a creative, I like to give back by volunteering to write for charity blogs like Student Minds, in the hope that my work may help someone.
The Pencil Parent displays examples of my work without the chains of creative limitations imposed when working for someone else. Here you will find:
- Reviews (because random makes the world go-round);
- Parenting Blogs;
- Creative writing (because the contents of my brain must go somewhere).
Please be aware that the views shared on this platform are mine alone, and I don’t claim expertise in any of them. But sharings caring, so…
